Feel how your bike comes alive on the open road with the new Alpinist CL II wheels, representing the lightest and best-handling clincher rims. The Alpinist CL II wheels bring capabilities that make overcoming mountain challenges easier, with a design chosen to take advantage of the low weight of the rims and spokes. A set of road bike wheels with 33 mm deep and 21 mm wide rims made of carbon.

The Rapide Alpinist CL II rims are handcrafted at every step, from the initial layup to the final tensioning of spokes on the reels. The wheels are built on DT Swiss 350 hubs with a 36t Star Ratchet and feature DT Swiss straight pull spokes. Internal DT Swiss components ensure reliability, and the standard design with 100x12mm at the front and 142x12mm at the rear helps maintain stiffness when using disc brakes. The set weighs only 1370 g, offering incredible reliability, durability, and performance at a low weight.

The reduced rolling resistance of a tubeless setup is undeniable, as well as the system providing improved handling and incredible puncture protection. The development of the Alpinist CL II wheels involved the most rigorous and extensive engineering and testing program Spec' has ever conducted, resulting in a set of wheels that nearly double the industry standards while boasting the lowest possible weight.

Cassette compatible with Shimano 11 and 12 speed sprockets.
