Product description
The new Chisel is lighter than its closest competitor and shares the geometry and kinematics of the Epic mountain bike. This new version of the Chisel delivers top-tier performance, offering the lightest aluminum XC frame in its class. Every tube of the frame is designed for stiffness and comfort, ensuring optimal control and efficiency.
Suspension tuned by Ride Dynamics draws its performance from the Epic 8 bike. This ensures that the Chisel can handle diverse terrain with confidence and speed. The geometry of the Chisel is designed for optimal terrain handling. A steep seat angle puts the rider in the ideal pedaling position, while the refined anti-squat technology reduces pedal bob, increasing efficiency.
The components that come with the Specialized Chisel Comp include a RockShox Recon Silver RL fork with 120mm of travel and a X-Fusion PRO-02 rear shock. The suspension, custom-tuned by Ride Dynamics, provides unique damping characteristics. The bike is equipped with 2-piston hydraulic disc brakes by SRAM Level T. The durable 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain ensures simplicity, precision, and durability, while the lightweight and tough Specialized Alloy 29" rims provide a stable ride. The TranzX dropper post adds extra control and confidence on technical descents.
