A brand new Shimano SLX M7100 disc lever with a Servo Wave technology and the light 2-piston caliper for MTB use. The Servo wave technology improves the lever's modulation ability. The brake lever absorbs a lot of braking distance right at the start of its movement. So the brake system becomes faster by the response, has higher performance and shorter idle travel.
The new SLX M7100 is inspired by the XTR model so the clamp is mounted with an angle to the handlebar creating a second contact point that provides extremely good stiffness. Because of the I-Spec EV design, the SLX M7100 levers can be mounted directly to the brake lever. A quick piston reaction leads to superior modulation which brings you better braking control.
Adjustable reach, simple set up, simple adjustment and great ergonomics, and you have a perfect setting for your cross-country bike.
